About Us
Past Ur Time Farm is a 150 acre family farm where we raise all of our livestock naturally and on pasture. Our goal is to provide quality pasture raised and grass fed products. Our animals are raised humanely with lots of open green space to move around in, ample shelters, fresh water and plenty of quality human interaction and attention.
Everything on the farm has a purpose and together they are the foundation of a business we continue to grow. The cattle provide calves and beef for sale. The hogs provide piglets and pork for sale. The goats provide kids for sale and fresh milk for the hogs. The chickens roam the property and provide bug control and eggs for the growing hogs as well as our own consumption. We cut our own hay to provide food to all through the months when pasture isn't growing.
Through continued best practices, learning and attention to detail, we aim to produce quality products and bring awareness to the benefits of pasture raised meat.

Who We Are
Steve DeMilt is a career business professional originally from New York and coming to NC after many years in South Florida. Julie DeMilt is also a business professional originally from Kansas and moved to NC from South Florida. Although neither of us came from a farm or farm family, we had a passion to run a small farm, embrace the farm lifestyle and manage it as a small business.
Our History
Our vision was to find a working farm that we could grow and manage into a local business providing grass fed and pasture raised livestock. In late 2012, we purchased this property as an existing, working farm. We chose this farm because of its location to Charlotte and other surrounding cities (Asheville, Greenville) as well as for its pasture land and infrastructure. We began our journey by taking over the farm with some cattle and hogs already on site. The rest is history and it continues to be made daily!
